Wednesday August 18th Tatianas Restaurant, 70 Market Street, Lynn Mass. I will be the featured performer at Speak Up Lynn’s own spoken word open mike. The open mike starts at 7:00. I do a 30 minute set at 8:30. I will be reading some pieces from my book and some other things. I’ll sing a few songs too.

Saturday September 11th The Bull Run Restaurant, 215 Great Road, Rt. 2A, Shirley MA. This is one of my favorite shows of the year. Two years ago I took a phone call on stage and announced that my twin grandsons had just been born. I probably won’t be announcing any family births during this show but you never know what might happen. The Bull Run is one of those rare venues where you can have dinner and a few drinks but still see the show in an attentive setting. I have been doing a lot more private shows. This helps to keep me from having to travel more than I care to. It also gives me a chance to meet the folks who support the music. There are as many different ways to put together a private show as there are people to think them up. There is almost always a way to do it that is affordable. People have been very creative in their ideas. All I need is an environment that is conducive to performing (Chairs all facing my direction, no screaming kids and a muzzle on your drunk uncle) and I will consider it. Think it over.
